When did you join Maximus?
I originally started out as a Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant on the Access to Work Mental Health Support programme in April 2021, before progressing to National Partnership Lead.
I gained incredible knowledge from both roles but genuinely found my passion while working within partnerships for business improvement.
How has your role developed?
As of October, I will be starting my new role as a Business Support Executive where I will be able to continue my growth and knowledge in my career.
What training, support or opportunities have you taken advantage of?
I am currently on an Improvement Technician Level 3 apprenticeship and have signed up for MentorU to help my career progression and goals. I have been provided tons of support with launching projects for our team, getting involved with other contracts and being able to network.
Can you tell us about any highlights of your career?
Many key moments come to mind but mostly the connections I have built with like-minded people. I was also able to secure a role through MaxWomen, a network that aims to empower and uplift female colleagues.
Personal and professional growth
I think about doing my first presentation as a Partnership Lead and how nervous I felt to even get the words out, up until now where I don't even think twice about public speaking!
The confidence and assurance in myself I have gained through Maximus will always stick with me.
What are your plans for the future?
To learn everything that I can and grow with Maximus as a career. I plan to hopefully make a change, not only in our colleague's lives, but in others who utilise the wonderful resources we provide.
