Our benefits.
All colleagues enjoy access to the Maximus Benefits Centre, an easy-to-use platform that allows you to choose the benefits that will benefit you. Annual Leave
We offer 25 days annual leave, with the option to buy or sell up to five days of leave during the annual benefits window. To reward long-serving colleagues, your annual leave entitlement increases to 27 after five years with the company.

Pension Plan
The Maximus UK Pension Plan gives colleagues they chance to build a pension for retirement. You can contribute up to 5% of your salary and we will match up to 4% of whatever you put in.

Life Insurance
For extra peace of mind, we provide Life Insurance for all colleagues from their first day with the business. Should anything happen to you, we will provide a lump sum payment of 3x your basic pay to your nominated beneficiaries.

Physical and Mental Health Benefits
We offer Health Assessments, provided by Nuffield Health, for a comprehensive view of your physical and mental health. Colleagues also have access to Ability First, an internal service to support colleagues in overcoming any barriers they have at work. To support mental health, we offer a nine-month support programme called Able Futures that help people manage and overcome their mental health challenges within the workplace. All colleagues also have access to a premium Headspace account, where they can access over one thousand hours of mindfulness, health and sleep content.

Enhanced Maternity/Paternity
Our enhanced packages mean colleagues are entitled to 12 weeks of full maternity pay (including adoption and surrogacy), and six weeks of full paternity pay. We also offer paid leave for neonatal/premature births, pregnancy loss, fertility treatment, child bereavement, breastfeeding and flexible parental appointments.

Charitable Giving
Doing your bit couldn’t be easier. We offer three different ways for colleagues to give back. They can pick a charity and make tax-efficient contributions throughout the year. Alternatively, they can sign up for Payroll Pennies and their salary will be rounded down to the nearest pound so that the remaining pennies can be donated to the Maximus Foundation UK. Finally, they can sign up to Payroll Giving and make hassle-free monthly contributions to the Maximus Foundation UK throughout they year.
What's more, every penny donated to the Maximus Foundation UK is matched by the business and goes directly towards a colleague-nominated charity. -
Gender Reassignment Paid Leave
Colleagues are entitled to a maximum of four weeks of paid leave which can be used flexibly for appointments, treatments, surgery and recovery. It doesn't need to be used in one block; it can be used flexibly and when needed.
