When did you join Maximus?
I joined Maximus as an Employment Advisor on the JETS (Job Entry Support) programme in January 2021.
How has your role developed?
Since being promoted, I've worked on the Restart Scheme as a Business Manager.
What training, support or opportunities have you taken advantage of?
I’ve completed two courses with Maximus – an ILM Level 3 in People Management and License To Recruit. My line managers and peers have always been fully supportive of my role and progression.
Can you tell us about any highlights of your career?
Mostly the people – every team I’ve ever been a part of everyone has always supported and encouraged each other to succeed. I’ve made friends for life since I started.
Moments to remember
I’ve also enjoyed being a part of different events, whether it’s celebrating Pride, Christmas or attending Job Fairs. It is just so nice to finally find a work environment that allows me to have flexibility around my children being a single parent and still develop my career.
What are your plans for the future?
To keep learning, developing and growing, and to support people to transform their lives.
