Managing one of the biggest teams in London

When did you join Maximus?

I joined Maximus as a Recruitment Advisor on the JETS (Job Entry Targeted Support) programme in October 2021, during the covid pandemic.

How has your role developed?

I progressed to Operations Manager for the one of the biggest teams in London, and have a fantastic team who continuously strive to change people's lives.

What training, support or opportunities have you taken advantage of?

Platforms such as MentorU, CoachU, DevelopU People Manager and Leadership Academy, and completed a Continued Improvement Practitioner Level 4 apprenticeship.

Can you tell us about any highlights of your career?

Working on the JETS (Job Entry Targeted Support) contract during the pandemic, the support from the JETS management team and learning opportunities from Talent and Development.

Other key moments that come to mind are our team away days and leadership events.

Memories at Maximus

I’ve met the President and CEO of Maximus, Bruce Caswell, had my own Continuous Improvement project and been highly recommended by DWP and the commissioner of JETS London. I've also witnessed candidates become some of our most talented employees.

Whilst working with Maximus, I also became a father for the first time.

What are your plans for the future?

I am really enjoying my time at Maximus and would like to progress further to diversify my skillset. I’d really enjoy influencing a region to help amplify the great work our teams do, bring out the best in people and develop my knowledge of continuous improvement.
